SwitchBot Weather Station (& calendar) REVIEW

A weather station/calendar with an e-ink display and 365 day battery life seemed to be exactly what I needed, but this one falls short. *UPDATE: Version 2.0 Firmware is now out - My device updated 10 June 2026* *Here are the subsequent changes and updates to the functionality shown in the video* 1. The silly AI Analysis’ label has been replaced with more normal terms, e.g. ‘Schedule’. 2. The schedule can now show what’s happening over the next three days - so now I can see what bins I need for tomorrow. 3. The weather data can be updated as frequently as hourly - however the daily overview page still only shows the weather in four hour increments, so this is not a significant change for my requirements. 4. Apparently you can now display a custom page pulled from an API. SwitchBot suggests using Openclaw to generate this. I’m really not up on this, but seems like I’d need to figure it out in order to display whatever I wanted on this custom screen. 5.
