New Amazon Echo Studio (2026) Review | This Smart Speaker Changed A Lot!

Reviewing Amazon's Echo Studio smart speaker (the 'all new' model released in 2025), to see if it's worth that £200 asking price. We're still waiting on Alexa Plus in the UK, but here's my thoughts on the new Echo Studio in 2026, including setup, sound quality and features. This is the most premium speaker in Amazon's collection, but it's changed quite a bit vs the original models. That cylindrical design has morphed into a more compact spherical finish, but as a result the audio isn't quite as impressive. Testing the Echo Studio sound vs similar Sonos speakers, I'd have to go Sonos. Although, hip hop sounds fantastic and vocals also come through clear enough. Still, it's nice to have that built-in Alexa, even if the Plus version is still missing on the all new Echo Studio 2025. Or at least, it's missing here in the UK - here's hoping it migrates from the US soon! Setup is still pleasingly simple, using the Alexa app. And controls are simple as you like.
