The Google Fitbit Air is an £85 fitness tracker, fresh for 2026, which pairs with the new Google Health app to help coach you to fitness, weight loss or whatever. This unboxing and first look runs through the main Google Fitbit Air features, ahead of my in-depth review. This isn't some smartwatch or a generic step count machine. Strap this fitness tracker to your arm and it pairs with Google Health, and the new Coach feature. This AI-led PT builds a complete training program and then monitors your progress, through the Fitbit Air itself and also your interactions with the Google Health app. The great thing here is the flexibility. If you don't feel like training one day, you want to increase the intensity or you're not able to workout, just tell the Coach and your regime will be adjusted. You can also record food you consume with a quick photo and the Fitbit Air tracker will monitor your heart rate, sleep levels and so on.
