In this review, I took a deep dive into the Nearity 360 Alien—an all-in-one 360° conference camera that’s clearly built for hybrid meetings in 2025. I walked you through the unboxing, my first impressions, and why this kind of “one device does it all” setup can seriously clean up your desk or conference room. The big focus is what actually matters in real meetings: how the 360 panoramic view looks, how sharp the 4K output is, and whether the AI auto-framing and speaker tracking feels natural or just distracting. I also tested the audio side because a lot of “conference cameras” forget that sound is half the experience. I covered the built-in mic array, noise cancellation behavior, and the external mic support (and I corrected it in the video: it’s a 5 meters external microphone). On top of that, I went over setup, software integration, and compatibility with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and more—because if it’s not plug-and-play with the apps you use, it’s a headache.
