In this video I’m checking out Samsung’s brand new Galaxy Buds4 Pro, which dropped alongside the S26 lineup, and honestly this is the revamp a lot of people have been waiting for. I unbox them, go over pricing ($249), colors (black/white plus a pink gold Samsung.com exclusive), and I also explain where the regular Buds4 fit in at $179—no replaceable ear tips, fewer upgraded ANC/EQ features, and overall I still usually prefer the Pro model. The big story here is the redesign and the upgrades that actually matter day-to-day. The new case is a lot smaller and more pocketable, with a smoky clear flip-top on the black model, and it’s genuinely easier to get the buds in and out. The buds themselves look more industrial and premium, with pinch, swipe, head gestures, and voice controls so you don’t need to mess with your phone as much. Then I do a real comparison vs the Buds3 Pro: sound is subtle but noticeable—more detail, clearer, a bit louder, wider soundstage, and stronger bass with less low-end distortion. ANC is still strong, but the bigger change is adaptive mode doing more real-time switching. And I wrap up with mic tests indoors and outside, plus who should upgrade (and who might be better off grabbing discounted Buds3 Pro).
