I also cover the stuff that matters day-to-day: the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display at 90Hz, the dated front design (notch, big chin, thick bezels), and the “slim” 7.5mm build that Samsung is weirdly proud of this year. You still get microSD support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor (which I actually still like), but you’re stuck with a single bottom speaker—no stereo—which is honestly disappointing in 2026. Performance-wise, Samsung re-used the Exynos 1330 again, so it’s basically not faster than the A16, and the 5000mAh battery + 25W charging is also unchanged. Camera hardware is the same 50MP main + 5MP ultrawide + 2MP macro, but the big callout is OIS, which should help with sharper shots and smoother video. My takeaway: it’s still a solid, affordable “normal people” phone, but the upgrades over last year are pretty minimal.
