Then I talk pricing and availability, because this is one of those “everywhere but the U.S.” phones, even though you can still import it and use it on T-Mobile (and Mint/Tello) with 5G support. From there I cover the design, ports, and day-to-day stuff: it’s a big 6.83-inch phone with a technically flat AMOLED 1.5K display, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision/HDR10+, and it gets seriously bright (up to 3200 nits). You also get dual speakers that sound genuinely good, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a pre-installed screen protector, and even an IR blaster. Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4—no massive leap over last year, but still fast for normal use—and you’re on HyperOS 2.0 (Android 15) with 4 OS updates and 6 years of security patches. The big highlight is power: a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery and 100W charging that can hit 0–100% in under 35 minutes. Cameras are a bit of a marketing illusion—on the Global model it’s really a 200MP main with OIS plus an 8MP ultrawide, using high-res cropping for “optical-level” 2x and 4x. Overall, for $400–$500, it’s the kind of midrange value we just don’t get enough of in the U.S.
