The POCO X8 Pro Max is the step-up option if you want a nicer build (glass back), eSIM support, a bigger display, a better processor, and a bigger battery. Personally, I’m okay saving the money and sticking with the regular X8 Pro, since the camera experience isn’t really the big differentiator here.
