I tested the TRIBIT StormBox Mini+ for a couple weeks, and for $39.99 it’s a really strong value if you want a compact speaker you can just toss in a bag. The sound gets noticeably better when you spend a couple minutes dialing in the 9-band custom EQ, and the 360° output stays consistent no matter how you place it.

Cons

- -Don’t expect deep, thumpy bass or huge output from 12 watts
