NotebookLM is amazing for AI research, but its slide export is easily its biggest weakness: you can only download your deck as a PDF, which means it’s basically “locked.” In this video, I walk you through the simple workflow I’m using to take those AI-generated NotebookLM slides and turn them into a fully editable PowerPoint—so you can fix typos, swap images, and apply your own branding without rebuilding everything from scratch. Here’s the process I demo: first, download your NotebookLM slide deck as a PDF. Next, bring that PDF into Canva to convert it into a PowerPoint file. The key step is that after converting, the slides often come in as images—so I show you how to go slide-by-slide and use Canva’s “Grab Text” feature (under Magic Studio) to turn the text back into editable elements. Once that’s done, you download as a PowerPoint and open it in Microsoft PowerPoint where everything stays editable. I also share a quick tip: you can skip the separate converter page by dragging the PDF straight into Canva and downloading as PPT from the Share > Download menu.
