In this video I’m doing a cosy little read-aloud of “The Rabbit’s Christmas Party,” a lesser-known Beatrix Potter story from the early 1890s. It was never originally published with text, so I’ve put together an immersive audiobook-style experience that pairs her six beautiful illustrations with simple on-screen text so you can read along while I narrate. It’s very much a gentle, festive, rainy-day woodland vibe—soft, nostalgic, and perfect if you love classic illustration and old children’s stories.
