DIY Turkey Trot in Freezing Weather | Bayou Classic | Vlogmas Day 9 2025

Welcome to Vlogmas Day 9! This is Part 2 of my New Orleans Thanksgiving trip and today’s vlog is full of family moments, exploring the city, and ending the night with the Bayou Classic energy. I started the morning with a DIY Turkey Trot run through New Orleans in 40-degree weather. I did not want to run in that cold at all, but I pushed through and felt so accomplished afterward. After getting ready for the day, I spent time with my family before heading out to explore the French Quarter and the French Market. From local food to the lively streets, this day captured the heart of NOLA. We wrapped up the night at the Bayou Classic Battle of the Bands at the Caesars Superdome, and the energy in the stadium was unforgettable. The performances and culture made the perfect ending to Day 2 of my trip.
