In this video I’m showing you how I do a “no sew” genius weft extension look at home using long weft tape-in extensions. The whole point is getting that flatter, more seamless genius weft vibe without actually having to sew anything in, which is huge if you want the look but you’re doing it yourself. I did the install on myself to demonstrate what it looks like in real life and how the method lays. My biggest takeaway: this is an amazing method for the right hair type, but I’m not going to pretend it’s universal. If you have very fine, thin hair, I personally wouldn’t use this exact thick weft approach because it can feel too heavy and it’s just not my favorite match for that hair density. If your hair can handle it, though, this is a super smart way to get that fuller weft look at home with tape-ins—no needle, no thread, no sew-in required.
