Craftsman came out with an 8-piece cordless screwdriver set (CMHT66718B6) so we decided to take a look at it in the shop, check things out with some testing equipment, and also compare it to the similar Kobalt cordless screwdriver. Craftsman claims that its 4V MAX lithium ion battery-powered "300 rpm (no load) motor drives screws 4x times faster than a standard fixed screwdriver". The set we picked up at our local tool retailer includes six 1-inch bits and a 1.5-in. bit extension plus a USB charging cable. If you've used one of these yourself, or one of the market competitors, let me know what you thought of it in the comments below. I always enjoy reading your comments and hearing other users' real-world feedback.
