Rage Breaker
The Rage Breaker (Double Swords RED) is the one I demoed here, and it’s a fun, aggressive drive pedal that can go from lower-gain overdrive to big gated fuzz. My favorite “why not” setting is basically everything on full, especially when the boost is waking the fuzz up.
Pros
- +Overdrive has a nice bite and works well at lower gain
- +Fuzz can be heavily gated for special effects
- +Boost adds brightness and pairs well with the fuzz
Cons
- -Gate can be so strong you can lose the signal if you overdo it
- -Bright/3 dB switches don’t make huge changes in many setups
