In this video I show you my simple, beginner-friendly method to restore that shine using a rubbing compound first, and then finishing with a liquid wax/polish. I’m using Motomax 2K Rubbing Compound for the correction part and 3M Premium Liquid Wax for the final glossy protection. The goal is very simple: don’t waste money at a shop—do it at home, safely, and get a clean finish. I explain the right order (rubbing compound first, wax later), where to apply, and how to work panel-by-panel so you don’t overdo it. Rubbing compound is for removing oxidation and reducing minor scratches, while the liquid wax is for shine and a protective layer. I also share the basic do’s and don’ts—use a clean microfiber/foam applicator, keep pressure controlled, and avoid rushing because that’s when you create more marks. If you want your MTB or hybrid to look fresh for rides and reels, this routine is one of the easiest upgrades you can do at home.
