We build off grid parking in the forest using free paving slabs and hard core that we collected from face book marketplace. We make a natural barrier to the sides of the car park area using woven hazel sticks. We then install some fence posts and build some gates from free pallet wood that we reclaimed from an industrial estate. Now we have a nice solid area to park the car on when we drive to the woods. Previously it was such wet and boggy clay that it was impossible to turn the vehicle around in winter.
