About This Video

Samsung just dropped their official Windows browser worldwide (Windows 10 and 11), and it’s not beta anymore. In this video, I install Samsung Browser (now rebranded as “Samsung Browser Now”) and actually test what it feels like to use day-to-day—performance, design, and the features that are supposed to make it more than “just another Chromium browser.” My first impression: it’s surprisingly clean. No annoying pop-ups, no aggressive prompts, and it runs smooth with fast page loads and solid scrolling. Where it gets interesting is what Samsung layered on top of Chromium. If you use a Samsung phone, the sync is basically instant—tabs and history carry over without the usual setup drama. You also get built-in ad blocking and straightforward privacy settings that don’t feel overloaded. The headline feature is the built-in AI assistant powered by Perplexity: it can answer questions about the page you’re on, summarize and translate content, search across all open tabs, and even dig through your history using normal English. The catch is the AI is currently limited to the US and South Korea, so most people will be waiting on the rollout. I’m not calling it the Chrome killer yet, but it’s absolutely not a “download and delete in 5 minutes” browser either.
