143 MLDC Final Project

Each year at Mikeslessons.com drum camp you get a selection of several drumless tracks to choose from. The song you choose you get to create the drum parts for the song. As someone who really only has learned worship songs, I wanted to step way out of my comfort zone. As you can see the song I chose was a gritty fast choice. I struggled to hit the snare roll in the into and made a couple on the fly changes during the recording. This was done in one take. Overall I am very proud of what I ended up with. Looking forward to next year as these projects are a way to track my progress.
