Surfing in Byron Bay with the first swell event of 2024 kicked off in true Byron style - with plenty of magic and mayhem at The Pass! Sit back and enjoy some barrels, bails and general summer holiday chaos surfing the Pass in Byron Bay! Yup, surfing in Byron Bay can be. pretty crazy, and one of the most famous point breaks in Australia get super rammed over the school summer holidays - with people from all over the country scrambling for waves! So when the first big swell event rolled in it was destined to be carnage and glory in equal measure. Sunshine, offshore winds and beautiful groomed banks saw The Pass and a spot nearby light up for a few days of reelers.
