My latest Maldives surf trip was quite possible the best surf trip I've ever been on! Out of all the Maldives surf resorts I stayed at, Niyama Private Islands was absolutely next level. 5* luxury and reeling lefts - I was in heaven! With smaller days being perfect for learning or those lower end surfers looking to progress. But when the swell cranks expect long rides, tube time and some of the best waves of your life! And if you're planning a Maldives surf trip with non surfers in tow, they'll be frothing at Niyama too. With 9 incredible restaurants to dine at - including an underwater experience at SubSix - kids club, in house spa, dive centre and heaps more, even if you or they aren't hitting the waves, there's plenty to do in paradise. I stayed in one of the Beach Pool Villas which alongside the Beach Villas are the closest room types to Vodi - but Niyama offers the full range of villa options, including the famous overwater villas and their 3 Bedroom Beach Residence, which is one of the most insane villas I've ever checked out!
