#sonyalpha #SEL100F28 Sony’s new FE 100mm f2.8 Macro GM OSS is finally here, and I’ve been testing it on the 61MP Sony A7CR for real-world macro photography. In this video, I take it outdoors for handheld macro and then into the studio to see how it really performs, including sharpness from centre to edge, stabilisation, bokeh and overall image quality. This lens sits in a great spot for full-frame handheld macro, perfect for things like damselfly head shots and extreme close-up detail. I’ll also share my thoughts on the focus clutch, handling and whether it’s a worthwhile upgrade from the popular Sony 90mm macro for dedicated Sony shooters.
