These Resin Colours Did Something I’ve NEVER Seen Before…

This started as a simple colour pour… but the way these pigments interacted was not what I expected. In this project, a split cup pouring technique is used to create a retro-style resin bowl using carefully chosen colour combinations. The goal was to control how the colours flowed and separated — but the result raised some interesting questions about how different pigments actually behave in resin. Throughout the process, you’ll see how the colours move, blend, and react during the pour, and why certain combinations produce cleaner, more defined results than others. There are also a few important observations around separation, layering, and how using clear resin in specific areas can change the final outcome.
