Epoxy Resin for Beginners: Which Pigment SHOULD You Use and WHY?

In this video I explore the different ways to colour resin and why they don’t all behave the same. Many beginners assume that all colourants will produce similar results, but in reality each type reacts differently once mixed into resin. I look at commonly used methods including alcohol inks, pigment pastes, liquid colours (both translucent and opaque), mica powders, and glitter. Each one produces a different effect, and understanding those differences is key to getting the result you want. This video shows how each colouring method behaves, what kind of finish it creates, and why results often don’t match expectations when the wrong type is used.
