I stopped at Strawberry Fields in Lifton because it fits the EV story perfectly: they’ve got a wind turbine, loads of solar, and fast chargers powered by their own renewable energy. The shop is dangerous in the best way—I spent just shy of £54 on tea for one, including two cracking steaks. If you’re passing the A30, it’s well worth the detour.
