Even with my personal gripes and past bugs, Elgato is still the ecosystem I’d tell most people to buy into right now. Wave Link 2.0 plus VST support and tools like voice isolation/background noise removal can save your audio in real-world setups, and the pricing is still more reasonable than BEACN at the moment.

- +Strong ecosystem integrations for creators (Stream Deck, routing, workflow)
Cons
- -VST UIs can be inconsistent and confusing for beginners
- -Older Wave Link had issues with losing routing/settings (less of an issue for me on 2.0)
- -I’ve experienced ecosystem bugs/crashes in the past with various Elgato software/hardware
