I bought into the BEACN ecosystem with my own money and I actually like parts of it—especially the “set it and forget it” vibe because settings are saved on the device. But with the recent price hikes, weaker build quality, and being locked into only the plugins they decide to offer, it’s hard for me to recommend for most budget creators in 2025.

- +Onboard saved settings (more resilient if software acts up)
- +Mix Create-style control is more intuitive to me than Stream Deck Plus
- +Solid concept for quick dual-PC setup
Cons
- -Price increase makes it a poor value compared to competitors
- -Limited to BEACN’s plugin/effects ecosystem (no third-party VST flexibility)
- -Build quality feels worse than Elgato to me
- -Noise tools don’t fit every environment as well as background noise removal options
