In this video, we'll check out how to paint up 1/35 scale Canadian infantrymen from WWII! For this demonstration, we'll use a figure from Tamiya's 1/35 Scale British Infantry on Patrol pack (kit 35223) and deck him out in the gear of a member of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. The QOR, as they're often called, landed in the first wave on Juno beach on that fateful day - June 6th, 1944 - and suffered the highest casualty rate of any Canadian division during the D-Day landings. These heroes fought through the Battle of Caen and on throughout France and the Low Countries up until war's end in 1945. Whether you're a true beginner scale modeler taking a shot at your first figure paint job or a seasoned builder working on new diorama project, this video is for you! *Materials Used* British Infantry Figure Pack: https://amzn.to/41BX3ux Beige Brown: https://tinyurl.com/5az5dnpe Black Primer: https://amzn.to/3som3p6 Dark Wash: https://tinyurl.com/e2c4jfsv Flat Black: https://amzn.to/3VKZLMs Gloss Varnish: https://amzn.to/3sCLW4H Khaki: https://amzn.to/3pdM2gG Matte Varnish: https://tinyurl.com/5n84ejem Skin Tones (set of 8): https://amzn.to/3pdXcSL US Olive Drab: https://amzn.to/3Fse51y Light Rust Wash: https://amzn.to/3KExSAy *Other Gear:* Modeling Mat: https://tankraft.com/ Sprue Cutters: https://amzn.to/302W2zX Craft Knife: https://amzn.to/3o9jVxz Paint Brushes: https://amzn.to/2Yx1Gti Respirator: https://amzn.to/3qhQfRz Air Compressor / Air Brush Combo: https://amzn.to/3BQXdiJ Air Brush: https://amzn.to/3wpyhO2 Camera: https://amzn.to/3pRwkaX Tripod: https://amzn.to/3MHXr24 **As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases (at no extra cost to you)!
