About This Video

In this video I’m testing sonible’s pure:bundle, and yeah… AI-powered plugins are getting INSANE. The whole idea is simple: if you’re a content creator or you just want fast results, you can literally slap these plugins on and let the AI “learn” your audio and suggest the right amount of compression, limiting, or reverb. I’ve already used sonible’s smart series on this channel (smart:EQ, smart:reverb, smart:comp) and I use them in my workflow almost every day, so I was excited to test-drive the pure limiter, pure compressor, and pure reverb. I pull up a project with beats, bass, and vocals (from Splice) and run the bundle across different channels and buses. I show you how the interface works: hit the learn/record button, choose an algorithm like “drums,” and the plugin analyzes the material and gives you a starting point. We talk gain staging (lower the gain before the master so you’re not clipping), then I demo the drum bus compression with auto gain, tighten up an 808 so the level stays consistent, and finally dial in radio-style vocals with compression plus reverb. The reverb modes are super fun too—normal, infinite, reverse, and bounce—so you can go clean or creative fast.
