How to Build A Modern Sliding Barn Door for under $300 including Hardware & using LIMITED TOOLS

This week I made 2 Modern Barn Doors. Including doors, paint, hardware the cost per door was $300. When researching this project the cheapest I could find was $500 for a door including no hardware. Using solid doors and a router I turned some pain looking doors into modern functional barn door. Because the doorways in the old apart block are odd sizes I needed to add extensions to the bottoms of the doors.
