This week’s vlog is one of those real-life homeschool weeks where we’re doing a little bit of everything—cozy moments, messy moments, and the kind of learning that actually sticks. I’m sharing a sweet lunch with friends, an easy baked spaghetti dinner, and then we jump right into a marine biology lab at home. The kids got to do dissections (yes, a shark!) plus squid, clam, and starfish, and it was honestly such a cool, hands-on way to bring science to life. We also had a couple rainy, cozy days, a dinner out that was… not great (I always keep it honest with y’all), and lots of Halloween prep happening around the house. The kids worked on costumes—one of them is going as cartoon Lydia from Beetlejuice—and it’s just that fun fall chaos I know so many of us are living right now. I also share a quick diabetic checkup update, and we squeeze in the simple routines that keep our home running when life is full.
