I wasn’t feeling my best for part of the week (you know that “mom still has to mom” kind of sick), so I leaned hard into simple routines and cozy, low-effort meals—think crockpot dinners and just doing what we can while still keeping the house and homeschool moving along. We also had some fun, sweet family moments mixed in—Alice got a fresh haircut, and Jackson brought home two adorable new guinea pigs (which definitely added a little extra excitement to our days). I’m also sharing a personal health update because I hit a big milestone: 50 pounds down. And to top it off, we finally took our family trip to The Ark Encounter in Kentucky, which was such a special memory for us.
