In this video, I walk you through every step of the process: removing the mid-engine covers, draining both oil plugs, replacing the oil filter, installing new crush washers and O-rings, and finally refilling with Liqui Moly TopTec 6600 0W-20 oil — the BMW LL-17FE+ recommended spec. We’ll also cover torque specs, how to use a digital torque wrench, and how to reset the oil service reminder from inside the car (since there’s no dipstick on the i8!).
