In this video I’m doing something a lot of you always ask me about—going to the worst reviewed barber and seeing what really happens. I’m not here to hate on anyone, but I always keep it a hunnid, so if something’s off, I’m gonna call it out. The whole point is to show you what to watch for as a client and what NOT to do as a barber, especially when it comes to communication, consultation, and how you carry yourself behind the chair. If you’re trying to level up, this is one of those real-life lessons you can’t get from just watching perfect Instagram cuts. Pay attention to the little things: how the barber sets expectations, how they handle mistakes, and whether they’re actually listening to what the client wants. I also want you to take away that reviews matter, but so does common sense—sometimes you can spot red flags before the cape even goes on.
