Black Bears, One Town, and the Man Standing Between Them

In the small mountain town of Mammoth Lakes, California, black bears and humans share just four square miles of space. Steve Searles, known as "The Bear Whisperer," has made it his life's mission to protect both. When 911 calls come in about a bear, Steve is the one who answers, defusing dangerous encounters before they turn deadly, all while keeping the bears themselves safe from harm.
