Last year at SEMA, I stopped by the GearWrench booth and got hands-on with a couple TPMS items that I honestly wasn’t sure would ever actually hit the shelves. Well, they did—and GearWrench came out swinging with a dedicated universal TPMS programming and diagnostic tool. It’s a handheld tablet-style unit built to handle the TPMS headaches we all run into: relearns, programming new sensors, and general TPMS diagnostics. It also comes with the OBD-II cable so you can plug in and handle what you need to from the vehicle side, plus a charging cable to keep it ready to go. The other big surprise is GearWrench jumping into the sensor game. They’ve now got universal programmable TPMS sensors, including a metal design (and they offer rubber too).
