Adley, Niko, and Navey are downstairs playing pretend to i go to get them when they trick me. they all hide, making for a quick game of hide n seek before we make a plan on how we are going to celebrate mom today!! We have had some great day celebrating Jenny recently with the baby and finding out the gender!! The kiddos and i run to the store to grab stuff for a bbq later in the day as well as gifts to give Jenny. our plan is we are going to surpise her with presents and then use almost all the gifts we get her. We got stuff for the swimming pool as well as crafts and art supplies so that we can all do some DIY family crafts. After everything is set up, we go get Jenny who has been sleeping in this morning! Surpise!! Niko and Navey lead her to the the kitchen where Adley is waiting with a party hat!! Jenny opens her first gifts which include water balloons for a battle later, a custom hat the kiddos made, as well as some chocolate, cause just like the kiddos, Jenny is a chocolate monster lol. We got her a pool flooty so she and the baby can relax this summer and enjoy the water along with canvas to paint on. With all the gift open, Jenny decides we are going to do some crafts. We do an underwater scene first, all as a family. Everyone painting different parts and when they dry, we can put them all together to make a masterpiece. Jenny then shares her canvas with us and we all make art for her. Navey and Adley use thair hands to make hand print art, Niko makes a zombie picture, and I use my fingers to paint jenny a love note!! Time to cook up some hot dogs and hamburgers cause its lunch time! while we eat, we play a game where we go around naming sea animals till we can't think of any. it was a favorite new game in Hawaii and our entire family loves it. Its time to open the pool and try out some of moms gifts. We put Jenny on her new floaty and she loves it. She even floats around with Koopa on her lap for a little while. Its then that Adley surprises us with a water balloon battle. Everyone plays, ending in some hilarious moments and tons of fun. We then invent a game where Adley, Niko, and Navey sit on the new floaty and I have to try and bounce the off, into the water. After such a fun day, you'd think we'd be done, but not quite. Adley and Navey distract Jenny while Niko and I set up her ice cream birthday cake and one last present. We lead he out to the backyard where we sing happy birthday and give her a telescope, something she has always wanted.
