New ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH! First Look at the Brutal Super-GT

This is the brand new ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH! Join me for a first look at the new British Super-GT, the follow-up to the DBS 770 Ultimate. Limited to 1,000 cars a year, featuring a twin turbo V12, stunning design details, and plenty more to take in. Let's check out the new Vanquish in full! With a full refresh across the Aston Martin product portfolio in recent times, we've seen DB12, new Vantage, and updates to DBX 707, but now they are joined by the flagship GT in the form of the Vanquish. It's a name that started in the Newport Pagnell era as Bond car, then the previous generation a decade ago, one of which I owned myself. While the DB12 has gone to a V8 engine, the Vanquish has the 5.2l TT V12 that makes 835hp / 824bhp and 1,000Nm; boasting a top speed of 214mph / 345km/h and therefore making it the fastest Aston Martin production GT ever. Visually there's a larger grill up front, new side strakes on the flanks, and a shield created around the rear area beneath the Kamm tail. It's a large car, growing 80mm between A-pillars and front axle for a total length of 4.87m; almost as long as an immensely practical Audi RS6 for example. For today's first look, we're at Aston Martin Houston in Texas, during a private customer preview as the model tours the country before full market introduction during the Venice Film Festival.
