MY MISSING BUGATTI! FIRST DRIVE in the Bankruptcy Supercar

This is the Bugatti born from bankruptcy; a 700hp carbon bodied supercar with a story to tell. Welcome to the Selected Car Collection in Denmark, for a first drive in the Dauer EB110 Super Sport. It's one of 5 in the world, arguably the ultimate EB110, and we're finding out all about it! Sandwiched between the early Ettore Bugatti years, and the Volkswagen chapter of the Veyron and Chiron, sat the years of Bugatti under the ownership of Romano Artioli. During the period of 1991-1995, a total of 139 EB110 models were produced before the company was liquidated, at which point Dauer Sportwagen purchased the remains; including the moulds and some chassis. Having previously won the 24H of Le Mans with their 962, and created a number of road going variants off the back of it, Dauer took their hands to continuing the build of the EB110, with a further 5 models being produced. These cars didn't originally wear the Bugatti badges, but have all been converted since. Notably different from the factory cars, the Dauer cars wear a carbon fibre body saving 200kg (500lbs) from the aluminium panels, helping it reached a theoretical top speed of 230mph. The 3.5l quad-turbo V12 was pushed to 650hp, and with the optional Remus exhaust and ECU tune, as per this car today, up to a ridiculous 705hp.
