BILLIONAIRE BUGATTI EXPERIENCE! New W16 Mistral Test Drive

Buying a brand new Bugatti? Come along for the experience! Welcome to Molsheim, for a first drive in the beautiful W16 Mistral, joined by Andy Wallace - top speed record holder and 24H Le Mans winner. This isn't just the last of the W16s, it's an experience and a lifestyle! Bugatti launched the W16 Mistral at Quail, 2 years ago, alongside the world's very best hypercars and it was certainly a stand out appearance. Limited to only 99 cars, they were all sold out prior to the occasion with approximately 50% heading to US customers. While there had never been a convertible version of the Chiron, the Mistral in some ways fills that void, and in doing so creates the ultimate last road going production model featuring the W16. Mistral is named after a wind that blows down the River Rhone, appropriately so for a car that can slice through the wind at extraordinary speed, in fact recently setting a record for fastest convertible vehicle at 453.91km/h, or 282.09mph. While there is a fabric roof that can be installed in case of a turn in the weather, for today's drive we're out with Andy Wallace on the road and luckily managing to avoid it. The W16 in Mistral boasts 1,600hp and 1,600Nm, enormous numbers, yet some how able to be used with ease. As with any Bugatti car, everything you look at and touch is of exceptionally high quality, but this time around with a very different soundtrack thanks to the intakes immediately over head.
