About This Video

In this video, I’m sharing my step-by-step PI prep guide for B-school interviews (GDPI season is real, I know). I’ve been exactly where you are—nervous, overthinking, and trying to “prepare everything”—so I’m breaking it down based on what actually worked for me in my B-school interviews and even later in my placement interviews. Also, I’m in the admissions committee at my college, so I’ve met and observed a lot of students across two years, and I’m telling you what interviewers are genuinely looking for: clarity, confidence, communication, self-awareness, and whether you can learn what the course demands. I cover the most common MBA PI questions like “Tell me about yourself,” “Why MBA,” and “Why this B-school,” and how to structure your answers so you can drive the interview in your direction. I also talk about behavioral/situation-based questions and how STAR (Situation-Task-Action-Result) can save you when you don’t want to blank out. Plus, I share what to brush up from current affairs and your own domain (commerce/engineering/etc.), and why mock interviews + recording yourself is the fastest way to fix articulation and body language. Finally, I give you my day-of-interview mindset: don’t rush answers, take 3–4 seconds to frame your thoughts, keep it conversational, look formal, and if you don’t know something, say it confidently and move on. Stress is inevitable, but you can fake confidence—and trust me, it changes the whole vibe.
