In this video, I’m in Jaipur’s famous Bapu Bazaar doing a super fun (and slightly stressful) ₹1500 shopping challenge. The rule was simple but chaotic: build a full head-to-toe outfit—clothes, jewellery, jooti (hopefully), and a bag—within a fixed budget, and I only had 30 minutes. I literally started the timer and ran around with zero plan, bargaining, speed-shopping, and trying to make quick styling decisions without overthinking. Honestly, I took a shortcut on the outfit because time was flying, so instead of hunting separate tops and bottoms, I picked up a breezy blue dress (blue is my favorite, so it had my attention instantly). After that, I quickly chose long jhumka-style oxidised earrings because the other option felt too risky. Back home, I did a full Navratri-ready look and gave you my final verdict: the outfit came together really well, the dress and jooti looked amazing, and the earrings matched perfectly (yes, I stand by it). My only “meh” parts were the bangles (I switched to oxidised ones to match the jewellery) and the bag—closest match I could find in the time crunch. Overall rating: 8.5/10, and I’d 100% do this challenge again in other markets too.
