Urban Decay All Nighter has always been that most talked-about, ride-or-die fixing spray—and for years it was tied to Skindinavia’s patented cooling technology. But now that UD and Skindinavia have parted ways (yes, the setting spray “beef” is real), I wanted to know one thing: did the new All Nighter get worse? So in this video, I put three formulas to the test—new Urban Decay All Nighter, old Urban Decay (the Skindinavia-collab version), and Skindinavia’s Finishing Spray. I tested them in real life on vacation: one side of my face got the new UD formula, the other side got Skindinavia, and then I did an arm test to compare new vs old UD directly. Right away, the new UD felt super lightweight—almost like a feather—while Skindinavia (and the old UD) sprayed with more force and felt more cooling. By the end of about 9–9.5 hours in Florida heat and sun, I felt Skindinavia/old UD held onto pigment a bit better (more “fixing spray” vibes), while the new UD wore more like a typical setting spray that melts everything together but fades more. My takeaway: I like the new formula, but it’s not the old formula—and if you want that old-school All Nighter hold, Skindinavia is the closest match.
