In this video I’m trying every product from the Ipsy Bare Minerals Edit and doing a full face try-on with honest, in-the-moment reviews. I start with the eyes using the Mineralist eyeliner in Onyx (yes, I attempt my little Batman wings). It’s super precise and really pigmented, but I’ll be real—it’s not the easiest to smudge out, so if you like a softer, smoky liner you’ll want to work quickly or keep it crisp. Next I test the Lashtopia mascara, and this one does a lot: lifting, lengthening, and volumizing all at the same time. There is a risk of clumping and a little spideriness if you’re not careful, but I love the wand and with the right technique it looks really good—I actually think I really like it. My favorite step is blush, and the Complexion Rescue Highlighting Blush is stunning: it’s a glowy blush/highlight hybrid, so you only need a light hand. I finish with lips (balm in Soul plus lip oil in Delight) and set everything with the Original Mineral Veil Setting Spray for a natural matte finish, then share the final look while I plan to test wear.
