In this video I’m finally tackling a full face of Ilia Beauty try-ons and honest reviews, because I’ve been collecting Ilia pieces through beauty boxes (especially FabFitFun and Ipsy add-ons/Drop Shop) and I had enough to really put the brand to the test. Ilia is clean and cruelty-free, which is exactly the kind of conscious beauty I love highlighting—especially when I can get it for less through subscriptions and sales. I start with skincare using Ilia’s Barrier Build Skin Protectant Cream, and it honestly surprised me in the best way—oatmeal-based, no scent, and it felt deeply moisturizing and gentle. From there I play with the Eye Tints (Mythic and Tannin) and you’ll see why I call them “one and done” products: they’re gorgeous and easy, but they dry fast, so layering and blending can get messy if you don’t commit quickly. I also share my least-favorites (spoiler: the gel liner is patchy and skid-marky for me, and the concealer is lightweight but not very covering). My biggest takeaways: Ilia absolutely shines in the “simple minimalist look with a pop” category. My top favorites were the Lip Crayon (Genre), the Lip Haze (Waking Up), and the Eye Tint in Mythic—those are the products that really made the look.
