Today I'm going to show you how to turn ordinary spoons and pasta into a full scale indoor Olympic Games that will keep your family having fun for hours, building core memories, and keeping them off their iPads. Place one mini marshmallow in the spoon. Hold the spoon steady with one hand. Use the other hand to gently pull back on the rubber nband. Aim at the target. Release! Some players may find it easier ( I did!) to ditch the hair tie and just pull back on the plastic spoon and release! the marshmallow. Each player only gets 3 shots per target or per round. Closest to the bullseyes (or highest total points) wins the round. ✅Game 2: Paper Plate Discus ▶️How to play Stand behind the tape starting line on the floor ( or use a table instead). Flick the paper plate sideways across the smooth floor (or table). Longest slide without going over the end tape (or table edge) wins! 3 slides per player. ▶️Countertop Events◀️ ✅Game 3: Kitchen Curling ▶️How to play Place the sponge flat on the launch line. Using one hand, gently push it forward. The goal is to slide the sponge so it stops as close as possible to the target line without going past it. Each player gets 3 slides. Closest without crossing wins the round. Optional Competitive Twist: First player slides sponge. Second player tries to knock the first sponge out of position. Closest sponge to the target line at the end wins. ✅Game 4: Pasta Javelin ▶️How to play Stand back 3 to 5 feet. Toss noodles trying to get it through a paper plate ring (or a bagel). First to get two noodles through the hole wins the game. ✅Game 5: Lid Hockey ▶️How to play Two player go Head-to-Head. Use a spoon to slide a lid into your opponent's goal. First to 3 goals wins. Winner advances if you're doing a bracket. Parent tip: If the game gets intense, shorten the round to 2 goals. ✅Game 6: Spice Jar Slalom ▶️How to play: Use a spoon to guide a marble or grape through spice jars. If you hit a jar, add 5 seconds. Fastest clean run wins. A timer or watch is helpful when playing this game. ▶️The Grand Finale◀️ ✅Game 7: Egg and Spoon Obstacle Course ▶️How to play Balance an egg (or potato, fruit, plastic egg) on a spoon. Navigate an obstacle path. If it drops, restart. Race against other players from a starting line to a finishing line.
