Mafia RTX Remix

This is the mod that made me say “Mafia 1 meet 2026” out loud, because the lighting difference is absolutely ridiculous. The models can still look like polygonal little weirdos, but the reflections, shadows, and overall ambience are a genuine breath of new life for Mafia (2002). If you want to see old vs new instantly, this is the one.

Pros

+Massive upgrade to lighting, reflections, and shadow behavior
+Makes textures and surfaces look less blurry and more detailed
+Feels close to vanilla gameplay-wise (mostly visual changes)

Cons

-Occasional lighting/shadow glitches
-Can crash when toggling (it happened to me)
-UI quirks like the crosshair disappearing can be an issue
