In this video I’m doing a proper little round-up of everything I managed to sew in February — seven new makes in total — and it’s a real mix of garments and bags. I chat you through what I made, what patterns I used, the fabrics I chose, and how each project actually went (including the bits that didn’t go perfectly — because let’s be honest, that’s sewing). If you like a cosy catch-up style vlog with plenty of sewing chat, this one’s very much that. I made the Tammy Handmade Romy Top and Romy Dress in a gorgeous jacquard knit, and then moved into more wardrobe-building pieces like the Pattern Emporium Free Spirit Skirt and the Fibre Mood Milena dress (with that beautiful Lady McElroy linen chambray). I also squeezed in some bag making with the Blackbird Fabrics Bestie Bag and the Noodlehead Crescent Tote, plus the Atelier Scammit Berger Gilet using a textured black bouclé — such a lovely fabric for adding a bit of interest. Hopefully it’s a helpful watch if you’re after pattern inspiration, fabric ideas, or just fancy seeing what actually got finished in a month of sewing.
