Here is the full video of our Margaret River road trip, where we went to celebrate Lus 30th Birthday! On Day 1: We looked around busselton, saw a double rainbow, milky way and enjoyed a delicious dinner at a Italian restaurant. On Day 2: We visited a cafe, winery and brewery. Lu LOVES her food so she enjoyed every moment. On Day 3: We packed our bags ready to drive back to Perth but stopped at a cave and a beach before going home. The beach didn't exactly go to plan... Oops. We hope you enjoyed our weekend away as much as we did, there was so much more of Margaret River that we wanted to explore. About This Video

This vlog is my 30th birthday weekend road trip down south, and Seong planned the whole thing (as usual, I had no idea where we were going half the time). We started with a first stop in Busselton for lunch at Hummingbird—honestly, the banana bread looked amazing but it was a bit dry, oops. Then we checked into our accommodation at Margaret’s Beach Resort, and I was pleasantly surprised: it smelled so clean, the kitchen was actually usable, and the ocean was only a few minutes away. We even had snacks packed (Aussie and Korean), and then headed out to chase the sunset. The weather was absolutely chaotic—in the best and worst way. We got hit with wind and rain, but we also saw the most perfect double rainbow, like from beginning to end. Dinner was at an Italian restaurant (I literally don’t remember the name in the moment), and it was such a nice birthday meal with pasta and wine. Day 2 we did a cafe (lowkey average, and I really didn’t like the coffee—too bitter, tasted burnt), then wine tasting at Amelia Park where I picked a Malbec that had this beautiful jammy flavour without being too dry. We finished with a brewery stop (wings were the move), tried to hit the Margaret River Bakery but the queue was insane, and then did Lake Cave. Last stop was a beach that did not go to plan—so windy the whole car was shaking, and I refused to go on the bridge because I’m not risking it just for content. Still, Margaret River is 100% worth it—just give yourself 3–4 days if you can.
