About This Video

In this vlog, we head into Perth City to check out Ganada — a Korean convenience store that honestly feels like a little home away from home when I’m missing Korea. We walk through all the fun sections like K-pop, stationery, and the snack wall (the problem is I can’t choose because I want to try everything). The main reason we came though was to try the ramen cooking station I saw online — you grab your noodles, follow the instructions on the wall, and cook it right there. We taste test a bunch of things outside in their undercover seating area, including the “ice cup” combo (ramen + ice cup drink), which was requested by a viewer and was actually such a good combo. I also do my old military-style ramen mix (cheesy buldak vibes), but honestly my spice level isn’t Korean anymore — everything’s spicy for me now. We finish with a corn dog (Lu was so excited) and a corn ice cream we’d never tried before — it was sweet, super corny, and yes, it actually had corn in it. Big shout-out too: the staff member was so sweet and kept checking everyone knew how to use the ramen station, which made the whole experience even better.
